Printing in Computing Services Centre lecture rooms

Location - Dejvice, 4th floor , block A1

For whom it is intended - FME students and employees

How it is printed - directly to the print queues

How it is paid - using a CTU card (for more, see TZS)

Available services:

• black and white copying A3/A4, maximum ten sheets (Xerox WorkCenter 5225)
• black and white printing A3/A4 (Xerox WorkCenter 5225 PS); see FS#262 for settings
• A4 color printing (Xerox 8560 DN); see FS#263 for settings
• color plotter up to A0+ size (HP DeskJet 500); see FS#264 for settings

Printers are configured in classroom operating systems. In Windows FS#265 or Linuxu FS#266 user can also set them up for a given printer himself.

 

Printing at the DTP department

Location - Dejvice, 2nd floor, block C1, room C1-211e

For whom it is intended - FS employees and FS PhD students

How to print - after agreement with DTP staff (in most cases by sending/bringing data to print)

How it is paid - by internal transfer in FIS

Available services:

• black and white printing A3/A4 (Xerox Phaser 5500)
• color printing A3/A4 (Xerox Phaser 7760), including V1 final binding, stapling and punching
• color plotter up to A0+ size (Canon IPF 8300S), including printing on various types of media - banners, fabric...
• binding (plastic, wire)
• business cards creation (90x50 format also with bleeds)
• machine paper folding (A4 format, three types of folding)
• CD/DVD series burning including color printing (large CD/DVD series 10-500 pcs)
