Lectures

Students attend lectures, practical seminars and seminars in labs where they use experimental equipment and thus learn to deal with practical and research problems. They also work on projects and go on expert educational excursions. Students obtain comprehensive education in the field which extends other disciplines, such as physiology, hygiene, ecology, construction, safety, or architecture.

Job opportunities

Graduates find suitable jobs in construction and design departments of production firms, design ateliers, development institutes and in management of production and operation of environment technology. They might also be employed by State Control Bodies (Czech Environmental Inspectorate, State Energy Inspection, Czech Water Management Inspection, the State Labour Inspectorate, sani-tary service and district offices). Graduates are also successful in creating software for air-conditioning and heating. The department of Environmental Engineering is in close contact with many renowned companies in the field which seek talented students and establish cooperation with them already during their studies.
