Registration for the academic year 2026/2027

 till September 11, 2026 - applies only to current students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the CTU in Prague (does not apply to applicants to the first year of Bachelor's and Master's studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering)

Period when nothing can be put to KOS system

 According to the Administrative regulation there is a 15 days’ period to appeal against the Decision to terminate the studies for failure to meet the conditions in the last semester or academic year.
Therefore it is not possible to interfere with the data in the information system (KOS) in the following dates:

September 15, 2025 – October 19, 2025 (5 weeks)
February 16, 2026 – March 22, 2026* (5 weeks)
September 14, 2026 – October 18, 2026 (5 weeks)

State Final Exams:

Winter semester:
February 2, 2026 – February 13, 2026 (2 weeks)
Summer semester:
June 15, 2026 – June 26, 2026 (2 weeks)
August 24, 2026 – September 4, 2026 (2 weeks)

Qualification works (Bachelor and Diploma):

Winter semester:
Bachelor/Diploma Thesis Assignment - October 24, 2025 at the latest. Submission of Bachelor/Diploma Thesis according to the Guideline of the Dean (set by the Head of the relevant Department)

Summer semester:
Bachelor/Diploma Thesis Assignment - April 24, 2026 at the latest Submission of Bachelor/Diploma Thesis according to the Guideline of the Dean (set by the Head of the relevant Department)

Closing of the Electronic Study Credit Books:

Winter semester:
till January 23, 2026 for the State Final Exams held from February 2 - February 13, 2026 at Study department

Summer semester:
till June 5, 2026 for the State Final Exams held from June 15 - June 26, 2026 at Study department

till August 14, 2026 for the State Final Exams held from August 24 – September 4, 2026 at Study department

Admission procedure for Bachelor's and Master's studies in the Czech language for the academic year 2026/2027
  • Bachelor's degree programmes – June 2026
  • Follow-up Master's degree programmes – May 2026

Registration of applicants to the first year of the academic year 2026/2027
  • will take place online in the period from June till September and during September 2026 and will be governed by separate special registrations schedules
  • the date of registration will be indicated on the website of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and in the electronic application form

Start of the Academic Year 2025/2026

 according to the Schedule of the academic year 2025/2026 issued by the Rector of the CTU in Prague, the academic year 2026/2027 will start on Monday, September 21, 2026.
